The ecommerce market is still alive, but the company is not going to be in the business of selling products on Amazon any time soon.
Amazon has been selling its own ecommerce products for years, but is the company willing to sell its own products?
That remains to be seen.
The company has been in the ecommerce business for decades and is well established in the marketplace.
In a recent interview with TechCrunch, Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos said that Amazon has not made a final decision about whether to go its own way or stay with Amazon, which he referred to as an “ecosystem of relationships.”
While it may not be an ideal environment for the company, Bezos says it is one that has worked well for Amazon and its business.
Amazon is profitable and is on track to hit $3 billion in annual revenue for fiscal 2019, he said.
Amazon doesn’t want to be a competitor to Amazon, he added.
“Amazon has a great product ecosystem,” Bezos said.
“It’s the ecosystem of relationships, the ecosystem that we’ve built that makes it possible for us to do so many things with the technology we do.
We’re very happy that Amazon is an ecosystem of customers and the ability to do that and have access to all of the products and services we offer, we’re just excited about how the ecosystem is working.”
He said the e-commerce market continues to grow and Amazon has always made an effort to build and maintain a strong ecosystem.
He added that Amazon doesn “have any intention of closing it down,” although he didn’t specifically name which business or business division.
The company is also working on integrating its Amazon Prime membership service, but that is not expected to happen in time for the fiscal year beginning in March.
“We’re going to do some things as we move through the year,” Bezos added.
“We are very happy with the way the Prime business is doing and how much money we’re making and we have a great team and our products and our services are really popular and we continue to grow.”
Amazon is not alone in trying to build a strong ecommerce ecosystem.
Microsoft is also exploring the possibility of launching its own retail business.
Microsoft recently announced plans to open an online retail store called Amazon, but its not clear whether the company will do so in the near future.
